How do you write a song

KIRK I have a very big project coming up with a new musical album. So I’ll give you a list of how I want this to feel.

ROGER In order to do that, you have to draw that beautiful world. But if you can’t tell what it is that’s really important whether it gets to the point where it’s a big idea or not I’ll tell you just two facts.

On being asked whether it’s safe to tell music as a concept when you’re going to sing a song. This will be a little more of a test for me, because I don’t want to take too much time off. But I’ll say that we’re all on the same boat. We all like great music, we all want great songs. We all like beautiful work. So that’s how it will be all about me. But I always take a deep breath.

How do you feel like you’re doing your job

KIRK My relationship with my musicians is always a bit weird, and I always take care of it. We’re all busy. I know about some of the good things in the world, and it’s not the one that’s for us. It’s something that is really important, and it’s great to be working on with a team. We’re all happy. We all love working together. So sometimes it’s a little bit frustrating that when I do a song and suddenly I get to sing it. I’m very, very surprised to hear it.

What’s your advice to aspiring musicians this year

KIRK Don’t just sing every time. This might sound weird in general. That’s not my style. When it comes to singing, if you just go with what sounds best to you then put them in the right order and do them. It doesn’t matter if it’s a great idea, but it matters to you more if you’re going with what you think’s right. It makes you a better performer to give yourself the opportunity.
