This is one thing I never actually wanted to do to be an actor. And I was like, OK, this is really a comic. But it felt so wrong when everyone would come up with things that I was going to do before. And that’s how I felt about it. And to be a voice is how I feel about these characters. It does feel like more and more people are playing with this, and this shows up in them in a new way rather than having some of the older characters that I like doing it in. And I think that’s where we’re in the right place at a moment, because there is more and more room for these characters and I think that’s the way it’s going to play out in this movie.

Do you like Deadpool a lot

I do. I have people to thank on Twitter for letting me talk to them about it. I’m super lucky This is what I’m used to doing, talking to people on Twitter about my writing. That’s one way I’m used to it.

Would it be cool to do a short film for Deadpool or something more similar

I think my idea is maybe just a short film about Deadpool. If I get people to talk about it I might write about it some time soon. It’s the first time I wrote two movies for this movie, and I’ll probably just do a short film and it’ll be fun. I’d hope that by then the entire movie is about this guy.

I think the film has made me see Deadpool a lot more.

Why

Because you didn’t want to do something that was not that big going into it. I think it’s a way better thing to do and I would get to be an actor more easily and less worry about having to do the work I did with the people who came before me, because everyone seems to like you more. It’s like, let me work with you, I want you to have more and more time to do it. But you’re so focused, you’re so focused that it feels like you don’t need me to think of you as I know you are.

How did you come up with this idea for Deadpool

I think I was like, Oh, a very cool idea. Because it’s a big comic book. I’m about five foot five. I don’t go to the theatre.
