Many of the flappers were aware that the US was using the Flap Association Act (which bans interstate traffic within the US) in the way it had been used in previous decades. This law has been in effect at different points during the US occupation of Afghanistan.

The FLAP Act was passed by the US Congress, passed by both the House and Senate, and passed with great fanfare when the US army invaded Panama back in 1983 without a vote of a vote of the House in favor. The FLAP Act prohibits interstate or local traffic from taking place within two miles of a military base.

As the military advanced forward into Afghanistan, there was much concern that local flappers might be tempted by the flappers’ actions. In the end, a group of US troops arrived on Pakistani territory to rescue some locals. However, many locals were angry that the flappers were taking refuge in their homes. The US military later withdrew their troops from Afghanistan following a bombing attack by an al-Qaida-linked group.

The US government began imposing strict requirements for the flappers to obtain the FLAP Act. It required them to register as a civil person, with valid driver’s licenses.

The FLAP law gave the US government the authority to detain people who engage or commit any act of terrorism on the US soil without authorization from Congress.

The FLAP Act also granted the US military authority to detain military installations throughout the world.

What was the difference between the flappers and the US military

While many had their own views on the matter, the military had far broader interests than one may imagine.

The flappers have many things in common with the US military they are both soldiers, but they have a special language and they are considered an American special service, explains Michael M. Schindler, an aviation historian based at the American Military University.

As the US army entered Afghanistan in 1981, some military officials were concerned about flappers taking part on some Afghan bases and the US military was aware that they could engage their flippers. The Flaps Act prohibited flippers from participating in hostilities in the case of a US military operation.

But what did the US military do

The FLAP Act changed the war in Afghanistan completely. It allowed the US military to detain flippers within a single area. The FLAP Act allowed for the military to detain more than one flapper or several flappers.
