This is a big question. This is one of the many different questions in how we talk about shoes today as well as shoes made more than five hundred years ago. I think in our modern day, we’re a different company than we were back then. We’re a different company from the early 20th century. Shoes were made a way and we’re still going to make shoes. The question I have is this Where did most of the innovations take us, at some point in the last fifty years, and why that’s happening Are there innovations in any of those years Is it changing shoes we’re wearing today or is it not The answer is that I think we’ve come a long way we’re one step closer to what was a very long time ago.

What do you envision shoes like in a few years time And what are you working on looking at

The new thing that we’re trying to do is come up with different shoes that’s going to be comfortable. I think a good example is we’re gonna build with leather and then we’ll do one shoe in every single shoe category. We have a shoe called the Taurus. We have a shoe called the Lancer that was made in the 1970s and is pretty much the same. One shoe was made in 1970 and that was the first time that leather came to the market. The only difference is we’ve got an entirely new version of the Taurus shoe made in 1967. The original shoe is like our favorite classic, the original M.D.G. shoe that we wear all the time it’s a leather-like leather toe, but very different. You can see in the shoe they’re made with a soft, non-fat leather, and it has a high heel that feels like it was made with that, like the same heel. The Taurus shoe is totally different it’s a completely new shoe, so it’s just another option we’re going to have to try and try and innovate at some point.

How would you describe what you call a shoe that’s at the mid and upper level that suits the new market

I’m going to describe the shoes at the mid and upper level when I say a very different shoe, where I think we’re going to meet, and that’s the new range of shoes that is going to be very similar to the old. It’s the same basic, very simple approach to shoe production.
