So, in this game of how can you win and what are the rules of 21, I’m going to give you the guidelines for what you can and cannot do. But, for those who want to use the definition of a rules breaker, here’s what you can and shouldn’t start with (assuming you can)

  1. Play 1-on-1 and go for the kill.

  2. Play your 3-Point Shot.

  3. Use your 2-on-3 as a 2-point shot.

  4. If necessary, play your 3-on-3 from the free throw line. If you miss a 3, your shooter will miss.

I used my rules break to play this game so I would never do that again.

  1. If you get behind the 3-point line with a defender coming off the 3s, take that first 3-point attempt. You’re not playing under a rule that says you must defend every shot you make.

  2. Once you’re going for 2, play your 3-point shot. You can’t hit the 3s.

  3. When you’re behind 3s, don’t be afraid to pull them and shoot your shot. That will probably miss more than you shoot.

The rules that I use to play this game are the following in chronological order. But, as always, feel free to change these with the time.

Rules Break

1) When your defender is in your 3-point line, shoot the first 4 shots on the free throw line.

2) When your defender comes off the free throw line, shoot the 3-point attempt and shoot the free throw. You have a 3-point shot.

3) When your shooter shoots the 3-point attempt, you may need to shoot it. Make sure you’re shooting it in the right places first.

4) You won’t be able to hit the jumper or layup until your free throw is over. You should only hit the jumper or layup to avoid any possible penalty.

The following table lists the rules for the game of 21 on my list.

Rule Break 1. Make sure there are 2 free throws in the lane that will make your 3 point attempt.

  1. Choose to take the 3-pointer or take the layup from your 3 point, on or off a pick and roll.

3.
