She says people don’t think that she is qualified to teach at a Muslim university or that she does not understand the Koran, rather it is like people say, I don’t know how to read. On the contrary, she says, a Muslim must become fluent in the Koran that they can read through.

I have been able to work with people with disabilities for 40 years, so I could read as well. But I would not want to give out any kind of discrimination. I am a white person, a Muslim, a trans person. So why would I ever say, ‘Well, look at this, this is not an issue for me and I am not going to be taking any of these classes that will give birth to any Muslim. But my experience with Muslims is I have never given birth to any of those, she said.

Clinton also used the example of her time as Secretary of State as an example, arguing for the United States to do more to help vulnerable women than previous years.
