Well you do all those things, and it’s often the easiest video to watch on YouTube, if you really want to get close to your goal and make a difference in people’s lives. For example, with the new version of this tutorial, we have a way to give a video a little bigger resolution, which we’ll cover in our next step uploading.

In our example, we’ll create a new video and upload it to YouTube. To make this work, we have to enable the ‘Upload to YouTube’ option on the ‘Settings’ button at the upper right corner of this page.

Scroll down to the ‘Settings’ button. We’ll see the ‘Video Quality’ and ‘Duration’ options.

The main ‘Setting the Video Quality’ button will make sure that the video is 1080i. This is because our new video will only have 720p (169), which is the minimum video resolution you can hope to achieve on your iPhone 6 Plus. If you’ve already tried to upload a video on YouTube, you might find this setting to be confusing, especially when you’re viewing a video from other apps of your choice.

Next, click OK and we’ll turn the video over so you can view it from any device.

Step 2 Setting the Longer Video Resolution option

In our scenario, we already had 720p-2048p, so that was important to our video. If you’re looking at the video as it is currently shot, you’ll see a short-winded GIF of the video’s video quality. So if the video quality is below 30 frames per second, you can still see an improvement if the video is longer.

For now, we’re using 1080p instead. If you’re trying to use 4K in 1080p, that seems a little too aggressive and could be very distracting to you, and while it’s great, if you’re using 2K, you’ll notice that it is much easier to shoot in 1080p than it is in 169.

To get around this, we can start by selecting a video and then heading to the ‘Video quality’ button.

If you select ‘Resolution’, the video will turn out to be 1920 x 720 pixels If you select ‘Resolution’ and the video is on your iPhone 6 Plus, you should see the resolution of the video be 2160 x 1440 pixels.
