We’ve talked about music in this guide. Now, let’s see how to play your favorite songs with all of their different types of sound content.

How to Play Music for iPhone

First, open iTunes and locate your iPhone’s Music Play options by tapping the Play button.

To open each of the song previews, right-click on the Playback button and select Set Up.

You may see the Songs preview with multiple albums and tracks. Each preview will require just one swipe from your iPhone. If a song opens, click the Play button, then select the song to play.

Here’s how to play a song right now with the iOS Player without iOS 7 on your iPhone.

Open the iTunes app from your Mac and open your new playlists.

Tap the Play button. You may receive a message saying Open the Play List. This is your playlist for your new play.

Once open, tap the Play button and select the song to play. You may have multiple options including playback status, artist name, and volume level.

Here’re some additional steps to prepare your Playlist for the Music Player.

First, close iTunes and navigate to the song selection menu.

Scroll down to the upper-right corner and create a new app. Right-click on the song, then find and tap Play .

. Find the new Music Player, then tap on Choose the desired playlist or the appropriate song.

In the Song list, choose the new song. If there are no currently played songs, click OK to exit iTunes.

To pause, you can also select Pause Playlist from playlists on your iPhone. (This is the place I created the iTunesPausePlaylist feature under the Settings app.)

To check the Playlist, simply tap the Playlist button.

You may have multiple options. For example, one song may show up only one time.

After you tap that checkbox, your playlist is created and played.
