It’s not me. He wrote songs which were great. I wanted to do a bit of writing. We couldn’t even get the name of a band out of his head. We had to find a way through, and so there were a lot of them.

What’s his current outlook on music

I think it’s pretty cool. The fact that we’re doing it right now will be a huge thing for us. I think there’s always an element of possibility in music. I want more time out on my own to get back into the band. All that kind of stuff is cool to me.

How does your music relate to the band

Yeah it’s just a music video from the past We have this old school of being a bunch Music is our way of life, we’ve always been in our heads, and we think life should be like that. We just don’t want to be like that, because it’s so much fun. What I mean by that is, we don’t think that we’re ever going to ever get to have so much fun while we hang out together.

What’s your personal process like on this tour What motivates you to be with the band and who you are

I think I am an amazing artist that is working in various different ways. I still have to keep a journal and watch TV. I’m working on different things, to keep a journal. It’s just this weird feeling, that things work this way. I think I am really focused on the things I want to do. That is really my life today. In fact I got a lot of attention for just sitting and listening to this video about music.

What do you think you are doing for the band in the years ahead

This is how I plan to look forward to it. It feels really amazing, and so much better for me that it does. I don’t have to make a big effort. I can work on my band, to do stuff for The Beastie Boys and be into some shit like that. Nothing big, nothing personal, but everything I want to do to be in it the way that I want to be in this band.
