A few years, I was diagnosed with a terrible cold. I could go to bed at night, but my mind couldn’t find time to think. The pain subsided about every 24 hours, and I could think of something, but it just seemed that there wasn’t some sort of way to tell the difference.

With this new diagnosis, I went back to my daily routine rest, rest, rest. There was a great deal of relaxation and activity in this routine, but there was the constant reminder that I had to spend every waking hour thinking of myself.

I was so stressed out, my brain stopped working, and I would wake up crying for the first time since I saw the lights. A day later, I woke up screaming. It was horrible. But I did not do anything wrong. I stayed active for nearly two weeks, and on weekends I was much more productive.

I finally had a break from the stress of the day. I was out of work and out of relationships, and I wasn’t seeing my therapist. At the time I was in the care of a family doctor, and the world around me changed in one of those ways.

What a relief.

I spent the next four to five years, and after that one day the pain only got worse, and with that I had some serious depression. All but one thing that had occurred to me was that my mood improved dramatically.

After just a short year of depression, I had a relapse disorder called Bipolar Disorder. It’s a disorder that appears to be linked to decreased level of attention or behavior in general but has been known to cause depression in people with this condition.

The reason for this depression is unknown. A group of patients reported that they developed a form of Bipolar Disorder. This is a disorder of social interactions that is characterized by high stress and intense emotional and social interaction. It can last for hours, often weeks, and a large number of people do not report this problem, even though some people do develop Bipolar Disorder.
