I never knew a violin was fun. I was pretty bummed out when I heard that before I started to play. But for me, it’s something to learn. My family has a lot of violin teachers and other musicians. They’re in high school and they have been getting their violin teacher job for 30 years. There’s something about those teachers and the fact that they have to go from a junior to a senior year.

What kind of music do you think will be popular

I’m not really that huge a fan of music, so I don’t know. Probably all jazz jazz. I could go up to about a 50 to 50 percent chance that anything. What I love about jazz is their energy. That energy is crazy they’re passionate about music. I don’t know, maybe that would be good and maybe it isn’t. I will say that one of the things I love about jazz is the way that they go about their projects, they’re not afraid to come up with new sounds. Not like the way I like to play with drums, but not like some of the more popular drum tracks or whatever. This is just different. I have the same experience I had with jazz jazz, but it’s so different. There’s a lot of stuff I want to do on an instrument, not only on my hands, but also in my mouth and my feet as well.

Have you learned about the violin

There are so many more than I was even aware of. There are so many beautiful young violinists that I am sure they’ve been around for an incredible 20 years. They could have been in high school, or it could be my grandfather, who was a student of mine in high school. I want to make sure that everyone is treated with respect, but my grandfather, who was great at his job as an orchestra player, just took everything that I wanted in life and took it to the next level.

Oh my God, my grandfather is so blessed to have a violin teacher. But he has always been a great teacher.
