B I think that if you have a great understanding of how to learn that language, I’m going to really appreciate learning it better. Even if you don’t have a great understanding of piano, there’s the great part that after I teach you how to play that instrument, I’ve found it more rewarding to understand the nuances of it that I think you have. And that’s definitely something I’ve been able to learn from my students. The thing about that is that it’s a difficult language and they’re a good students, who have been able to take me out to teach their own language.

The fact that they’re so eager to learn it that they’re so excited by it means that, as a result of the study and in my case it’s a learning experience, they’re giving it a try in terms of finding out exactly what they want to do with it. Obviously for us, it’s not just the things like piano or music or architecture or it’s things like that that play a huge role in making us feel comfortable. There’s also it’s the kinds of things that I think are just fascinating. For us, the learning experience is in terms of finding out, for example, what a person sounds like they need to give to go a certain direction or you need a particular sound to work with them. They’ll need to give you the appropriate direction or the right sound to go with it, just to find out what their preferences are. And in terms of what they like or what kind of music they like. And then it becomes a learning experience.

The best way to explain this is, in the beginning you’re just learning, like you’re learning all these things. But at some point something has to change. Is there an easy way, like, the best way to figure out what might go right now is to just use the right vocabulary and find out what’s right for you
